He has performed with groups including the Matt Skinner Band, Halden Wofford & the Hi*Beams, Sugar Britches, and Open Road. His playing appears on numerous recordings spanning bluegrass, honky tonk, and outlaw country, with credits dating back to the early 2000s. Beyond performing, O’Connor has built a long career connected to music, media, and education. He has played thousands of live dates while also working as an instructor in journalism and web design at Colorado State University.
