Darren Radach is a Northern Colorado musician and recording professional with a wide range of roles in the local music scene. He plays drums and mandolin with The Matt Skinner Band, an alt-country and roots-rock group out of Fort Collins, where his steady groove and tasteful fills help drive the band’s energetic live performances. He is also part of Crescent City Connection, bringing rhythm and feel to the band’s blend of styles rooted in New Orleans-inspired music. Darren has a long history of playing with and sitting in on shows with many groups in the region. Earlier in his career he was a member of Motorhome, is an alum of Colony Funk, and he has appeared with numerous bands across Northern Colorado stages. Beyond performing, Darren is the owner and operator of Stout Studio, a Fort Collins recording and production facility that has been recognized by his peers in the FoCoMA Peer Awards. Stout Studio has earned acknowledgment in the local music community for its work supporting artists and capturing a wide range of projects. As both a musician and sound engineer, Darren brings musicality and technical skill to his work. He connects with other artists easily and contributes to the rich collaborative spirit that defines Northern Colorado’s music scene.
