Wesley Watkins

Wes Watkins is a dynamic force in music, blending genres and building community through adventurous and innovative projects. A former teacher and a staple of Colorado's vibrant arts scene, he has not only collaborated with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, iZCALLi, Air Dubai, Wheelchair Sports Camp and many others; but also played a key role in shaping Denver's musical spaces—founding and curating open mics, jam sessions, and residencies that foster creativity and connection. He has created groundbreaking ensembles, including The Other Black, the Wes Watkins Choir, and the newly formed Wes Watkins Ensembles.
